Thanksgiving Game Highlights in Arlington

During Week 13, the Stars took the field in Arlington.

Before the highly anticipated Thanksgiving match between Kansas City and Dallas at AT&T Stadium, Gracie Hunt, daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, shared moments on the sidelines with Hannah and Haley Cavinder, the latter engaged to Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson.

In an Instagram post featuring a sideline snap, 26-year-old Hunt remarked, “Thanksgiving disaster in the Lone Star state.” She added, “Today and forever I am grateful for my faith that guides me, my loving family, and football that brings us together. Every good and perfect gift comes from above.” That’s from James 1:17, if anyone’s curious.

Additionally, Hunt’s sister Ava and Haley Anderson, granddaughter of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, were also spotted in some sideline photos.

The Cowboys managed to edge out the reigning AFC champions with a score of 31-28, pushing their season record to 6-5-1.

As for Ferguson, who signed a four-year, $52 million contract extension this past summer, he had a quiet game with just five receptions for 36 yards.

Ferguson’s overall stats for the year stand at 496 yards and seven touchdowns across 12 games.

Hayley, 24, expressed her appreciation on Instagram, saying, “I’m so grateful for this family!” She also posted a picture capturing a sweet moment with her NFL fiancé.

Looking ahead, the Cowboys, on a three-game winning streak, are set to face the Lions on “Thursday Night Football” on December 4th.

The Chiefs, now at 6-6, are hoping for a playoff opportunity after making it to the Super Bowl three consecutive times.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes voiced his determination after the game, stating, “At the end of the day, we need to win every game right now, and I hope that’s enough.” The Chiefs will host the Texans for Sunday Night Football in Week 14.

It’s worth noting that the last time Kansas City missed the playoffs was back in 2014.
