Trump Celebrates Thanksgiving Weekend with a Golf Shot

President Donald Trump spent his Thanksgiving weekend in Florida, where he made a chip shot that thrilled onlookers.

On Saturday, the 47th president donned his iconic red MAGA hat and a white golf shirt. He was accompanied by a group that included five-time major champion Brooks Koepka, hockey icon Wayne Gretzky, and Fox News anchor Bret Baier.

Despite being around these celebrated athletes, Trump appeared relaxed. In a video, he confidently approached his ball just a few feet from the green, while his caddy removed the pin. After a couple of practice swings, he struck the ball, watching it land perfectly in the hole.

A voice off-camera exclaimed, “Once!” as the ball rolled into the cup.

Trump casually walked away, later sharing the moment on his Truth Social account with the caption, “Winning is always great!” It remains unclear what his score was on that hole or who won overall.

“Everyone loves a tip-in,” noted a golf publication about the match.

Throughout the day, Trump’s golf game served as a way to jest about his favorite political opponent, former President Joe Biden. During a Thanksgiving video call with military personnel, Trump even commented on Biden’s golfing skills.

One non-commissioned officer inquired about Trump’s “true golf handicap” and whether he would fulfill his challenge to face off against Biden, suggesting he’d donate $1 million to charity if he lost.

In past debates, particularly a confrontation in Atlanta, Trump had critiqued Biden’s claims about his golfing ability. He remarked, “Biden can’t hit the ball 30 yards out,” expressing disbelief at Biden’s self-reported handicap of 6. “That’s the only thing that pissed me off.”

Referring to the challenge, Trump added, “So I invited him and he doesn’t want to show up.”
