FBI announces $50,000 reward for information on Stockton mass shooting that resulted in 4 deaths

Shooting in Stockton Leaves Four Dead, Investigation Ongoing

The search continues for suspects involved in a tragic shooting in Stockton, California, that occurred last weekend. This incident resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including three children. Authorities now believe there may have been multiple shooters.

The FBI has put forth a $50,000 reward for any information that could lead to the arrest of the person responsible. The victims were aged 8, 9, 14, and 21, and they were at a birthday party for a two-year-old when the shooting began, with attendees recounting chaotic scenes as they tried to avoid the bullets.

Patrice Williams, who organized the birthday celebration, described the horrific moment: “As I was getting ready to cut my daughter’s cake, everyone gathered around, and then I heard gunshots. It was totally unexpected. People just dropped to the ground.” She expressed her sorrow, saying, “I’m really sorry to all the mothers who lost their children at my birthday party.”

The gunfire left four dead and eleven injured, with Williams stating that her sister, cousin, and friends were among the wounded.

San Joaquin County Sheriff Patrick Withrow confirmed in a Monday briefing that “there appears to be more than one shooter,” although no suspects have been named so far.

Williams, visibly shaken, expressed her anger over the situation, stating, “They deserve to go to prison. They deserve to go to hell. I mean, this was supposed to be a children’s party.” Her emotions are, I think, understandable given the circumstances.

Authorities are receiving valuable assistance from the community, including tips, videos, and witness accounts, all of which are critical in identifying the individuals behind this devastating act.
