Mark Andrews and Elena Yates Get Engaged
Big news for Ravens tight end Mark Andrews and his girlfriend, Elena Yates. The couple, who have been together since 2023, shared their engagement announcement on Instagram this past Friday.
Andrews expressed his feelings simply: “I love you forever.” Meanwhile, Yates, who hails from New Jersey and works as an influencer, couldn’t contain her excitement, saying, “Best night ever, I’m the luckiest girl ever!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
To add a touch of charm, Yates posted a video capturing the moment Andrews proposed. The atmosphere was cozy, with Frank Sinatra’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” playing in the background.
The proposal took place in front of a Christmas tree and fireplace, right after the Ravens’ 32-14 loss to the Bengals on Thanksgiving Day.
On a sports note, Andrews made headlines by becoming the Ravens’ all-time receptions leader during the game, achieving a remarkable four catches that day.
He stands as the franchise leader in receptions, yards, and receiving touchdowns—quite an impressive feat, really, especially after setting the yardage record earlier this season.
Shortly after the engagement, Yates posted a picture of a stunning flower arrangement from Andrews, and he took a moment to share a heartfelt message with his future wife.
He wrote, “Elena, I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. You are my comfort, my joy, and the person who makes every day feel brighter. Loving you has become the best part of my life. I love you.”
Yates earned a marketing degree from the College of Charleston and was a member of the Delta Delta sorority. She is frequently seen at Ravens games, often posting updates with Andrews from the sidelines.
The Ravens, currently at a 6-6 record, are gearing up for an upcoming match against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who also sit at 6-6, this Sunday in Baltimore.
