Travis Kelce home intruder receives diversion agreement, avoids criminal record

A man has been sentenced after jumping a fence at the Kansas home of Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce.

Justin Lee Fisher entered into a diversion agreement in Leawood Municipal Court, where he was fined $1,000 and placed on probation. This agreement allows defendants to fulfill certain conditions to avoid a conviction.

Kelce recorded 61 receiving yards during a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2. Shortly after the game, police responded to a report of a break-in at Kelce’s residence.

Fisher was arrested and charged with misdemeanor trespassing. He claimed he was attempting to serve a subpoena to Kelce’s fiancée, singer Taylor Swift, because he was representing the attorney for actor Justin Baldoni, who is involved in a separate legal matter.

In his request for diversion, Fisher stated, “I am seeking diversion because I was arrested while performing my duties as a process server.” He explained that he entered the property through an open gate and spoke to a security guard about delivering the documents, but was not instructed to leave before the police arrived.

A member of Swift’s security team alerted the authorities about the situation at Kelce’s home.

Kelce and Swift got engaged in August, and Swift released her album, “Life of a Showgirl,” in October. As for Kelce, he continues to play his 13th season with the Chiefs.
