Marjorie Taylor Greene Invests in Bitcoin During the Dip and Reveals Her Earnings from the Recent Purchase

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Stock Purchases in Bitcoin Trust

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has been actively increasing her investments, particularly in Bitcoin-related stocks. Recent disclosures indicate she made notable purchases during a period when the cryptocurrency’s value dipped.

Greene acquired between $1,000 and $15,000 worth of shares in the iShares Bitcoin Trust (NASDAQ: IBIT). This information emerged from a report dated November 21st, available on the Benzinga Government Deals Page.

This latest acquisition supplements a series of prior purchases she made in 2025, which included:

  • January 8: $1,000 to $15,000
  • March 3: $15,000 to $50,000
  • September 11: $1,000 to $15,000
  • October 9: $1,000 to $15,000
  • October 15: $1,000 to $15,000
  • October 24: $1,000 to $15,000

Overall, Greene’s recent transactions amount to between $21,000 and $140,000 invested in IBIT stock. This purchasing spree comes as Bitcoin’s price has significantly dropped, settling at around $85,090.69 on November 21. Currently, Bitcoin is valued at about $92,982.50, reflecting a 9.3% increase.

The iShares Bitcoin Trust’s shares closed at $47.97 on November 21, and they have since risen to $52.74, which is a gain of 9.9% since her latest purchase. Based on Congressional disclosures, the new IBIT shares Greene acquired have grown in value, estimated to be around $99 to $1,485 more.

Greene faced criticism earlier this year regarding the timing of her trades, but she defended her actions by stating that she has delegated buying and selling decisions to her portfolio manager. She noted that a savvy investor would recognize the value in making timely purchases.

Recent activity by Greene or her portfolio manager appears to suggest a consistent strategy of opportunistic buying. However, her other stock transactions, particularly in firms like Palantir Technologies, have stirred concern among investors.

In a significant career move, Greene has recently stated she plans to resign from Congress in January, which means her financial dealings will not remain public if she steps away from politics. This could change the landscape of her investments significantly.
