Kathy Hilton’s Home Invasion Experience

Kathy Hilton recently opened up about a frightening home invasion that occurred while she was away. In an interview, she explained that robbers gained entry by shattering a glass window. At the time, her husband, Rick Hilton, was upstairs, and their security team was in the guesthouse.

When Rick heard the distinctive sound of breaking glass, he armed himself with a shotgun and confronted the intruders, who had forced their way into the master bedroom. Kathy recounted that he warned them, saying, “Get those people out of here. The police are on their way.” Things escalated further when their security personnel arrived. As chaos unfolded, Rick began firing shots into the air from his office.

Details of the Robbery

On the night of Saturday, November 15th, around 11:48 p.m., Kathy was attending Bravocon in Las Vegas when her home was invaded. Unfortunately, by the time police responded, the thieves had fled, and a search of the nearby area didn’t yield any results.

Coincidentally, Sutton Stracke, another cast member from “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” experienced a burglary that same evening. Notably, she was also at BravoCon promoting her show. Sutton later revealed that the thieves accessed her home through the kitchen window, making off with a collection of luxury handbags and jewelry, including high-end brands like Hermès and Chanel. She stated, “I am cooperating fully with authorities as they continue their investigation.”

Upcoming Season of Real Housewives

The 15th season of the popular reality show is set to debut on Bravo on December 4. Viewers can expect the return of familiar faces such as Erica Jayne and Dorit Kemsley, alongside Kathy’s sister, Kyle Richards, a former Beverly Hills Housewife.

Interestingly, Kathy Hilton’s daughters, Paris and Nicky, shared their own reactions to their mother’s involvement on the show. In a podcast episode from March 2021, Paris humorously noted that she and Nicky were unaware of their mom’s participation until filming was well underway. She joked about how their mother had initially pretended not to be part of the show and, under normal circumstances, she would likely never have agreed to participate.

It’s worth mentioning that Paris recently welcomed a son, Phoenix, in January 2023, and a daughter, London, in November 2023, both through surrogacy.
