Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios have ended their relationship after over two years of dating.
Sources revealed to Page Six that the split was mutual, citing distance as a significant factor. “It was a distance thing,” they noted.
Recently, Earle was seen enjoying herself at the 1 Hotel in South Beach and had also attended an Art Basel party in Miami.
Page Six reached out to both Earle and the agent representing the Houston Texans wide receiver for comments.
The couple, with Berrios being 30 and Earle 24, sparked breakup rumors last month when Berrios did not attend the Season 34 finale of “Dancing with the Stars.”
However, Earle appeared to address these rumors over the weekend in a TikTok video. In her “Get Ready With Me” segment, she gave a “post-‘DWTS'” update that seemed to clarify his absence.
One viewer commented, “Hmm, I wish you and Braxton were still together,” to which she replied, “He never made it to football :(.”
The finale of the popular dance competition aired live on November 25th from Los Angeles.
Berrios played a game against the Buffalo Bills on November 20th and followed up with another against the Indianapolis Colts on November 30th.
In a supportive pre-recorded message during the finale, Berrios praised Earle, saying, “I’ve watched you give it your all since the moment you started, and I think it shows. Good luck. Have fun, baby.”
The two first began dating in May 2023, and by October of that year, their relationship had become more serious.
A romantic Instagram post showed Earle, in a bikini, wrapped around the shirtless Berrios as they kissed at sunset, celebrating his 28th birthday with the caption, “Hbd NFL Man.”
Despite support from athletes, Earle and her dancing partner Val Chmerkovskiy did not win the prestigious Mirrorball Trophy, losing instead to Robert Irwin and Witney Carson.
