Biden's DOJ Attempted to 'Entrap' and 'Bribe' Me

Congressman Cuellar Discusses Allegations of Presidential Pardons

On this week’s episode of “Sunday Morning Futures” on Fox News, Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-TX) talked about presidential pardons and the criminal charges linked to them.

Cuellar alleged that the Biden Justice Department orchestrated a sting operation aimed at entrapping him.

A partial transcription follows:

Bartiromo: You’ve always maintained your innocence. Can you elaborate on what transpired with the Azerbaijani government?

Cuellar: Yes. First off, I want to clarify that we are innocent. We’ve reviewed all the evidence disclosed through discovery. Surprisingly, we even had access to the grand jury testimony, which is rare. And, importantly, not a single witness corroborated any wrongdoing. No one provided any evidence of wrongdoing at all. In fact, they attempted to bribe me and even staged a sting operation that ultimately failed.

They did something wrong here. I want to stress that there was no evidence supporting any claim of illicit activity on my part. They tried to orchestrate a sting operation to catch me off guard, but it didn’t work.

Bartiromo: That sounds like a true bribery attempt.

Can you specify who attempted to bribe you? Are you implying that the Justice Department under Biden was involved?

Cuellar: Yes, that’s correct. We have testimonies, 302 reports, and evidence of a sting operation. They created fake companies and bogus accounts. They funneled money through these channels and implied it was meant to bribe me.

Bartiromo: Wow.

Cuellar: They tried to utilize this money. They even contacted my staff in D.C., and my team told them there was nothing to offer. Since they couldn’t bribe me, they ultimately returned the money to its source. The Biden administration attempted to ensnare me in a bribe, but it didn’t succeed.

It’s crucial to note that all of this originated from the Department of Justice in D.C. The local office in Houston didn’t find the case credible enough to engage. My sources indicated that the Houston office opted out because they felt there was no merit in pursuing the matter.

The Houston office decided to stay out of it. This involvement is from the officials in Washington, and I’ve also spoken to Jim Jordan about wanting to meet with him. I believe it’s necessary to investigate the prosecutors involved as well as their superiors.
