The children of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, might be heading to the UK soon to reunite with their grandfather, King Charles III. This development comes following a new look at the Duke of Sussex’s security situation.
The Royal Family and the VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) are currently reviewing Prince Harry’s safety concerns to assess his current threat level, as mentioned by sources.
The British government has been gathering information from the author of Harry’s book, “Spare,” and police, with an announcement expected next month.
A spokesperson from the UK Government stated, “The UK’s protective security systems are rigorous and appropriate,” adding that they wouldn’t share detailed information about security arrangements, as it could compromise safety.
Page Six has tried to get a response from Prince Harry’s representatives, but there has been no comment.
Back in May, Harry lost an appeal regarding the British government’s decision to remove his publicly funded security after he stepped away from royal duties and relocated to North America.
Since his move, there’s been a notable distance between him and his brother Prince William, along with their father, Charles. Harry’s 2023 memoir and Netflix series about his family dynamics further escalated tensions.
In September, Harry met Charles in London for the first time in a year, though he claimed his father didn’t speak to him. A source told Us Weekly there were “hugs and tears” during the meeting, reflecting a warm atmosphere. However, Harry described the encounter as feeling more like an “official visitor” situation rather than a familial one.
Historically, the two hadn’t met since February 2024, which coincided with Charles announcing his cancer diagnosis.
