Ana Navarro Mocks Trump with Fake Medals
On Monday, “The View” co-host Ana Navarro made headlines by presenting faux medals in a playful jab at President Donald Trump, who had recently received the inaugural FIFA Peace Prize.
This past Friday, Trump was honored with the award during the World Cup final draw held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented him with a trophy featuring a golden hand holding a soccer ball, as well as a medal that Trump promptly wore.
Navarro, an outspoken critic of Trump on the show, suggested that FIFA’s decision to award him was more about leveraging political maneuvering than about his presidential accomplishments.
She continued, noting that FIFA has specific expectations from Trump, especially regarding the 2026 World Cup co-hosted by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. One major concern is ensuring that international fans can obtain U.S. visas without hurdles.
Navarro added that FIFA wishes for a relaxed atmosphere during the games, steering clear of any ICE raids that could potentially intimidate attendees, particularly in light of cultural events like a halftime show featuring Bad Bunny.
In a light-hearted moment, she quipped that FIFA officials seemed aware that charms, gifts—like shiny trophies—are likely to butter Trump up. Another co-host, Sunny Hostin, chimed in with the notion that Trump might feel envious of Barack Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize, thinking he deserved similar accolades.
With a smirk, Navarro sweetened her bit by jokingly distributing plastic gold medals to everyone around, exclaiming, “You get a medal! And you get a medal!” The audience chuckled as her co-host Alyssa Farrah Griffin labeled the award to Trump as “disgusting.”
Fox News Digital did reach out to both the White House and FIFA, but there was no immediate comment from either party.
