Hi there! It’s time for the Week 15 Waiver Wire Watch for Quarterbacks!
The moment we’ve been waiting for is finally here—fantasy playoffs! All those lineup choices made over the last few weeks are about to pay off. Whether you’re aiming for glory or just trying to avoid being the league’s doormat, this is the time to boost your roster for the postseason’s first round.
Here are some quarterbacks to think about adding from the waiver wire as we head into Week 15. We’re considering players who are on rosters in up to 60% of leagues. Now that bye weeks are finished, it’s time for all teams to gear up.
Sam Darnold, QB, Seattle Seahawks (40.3%)
Darnold led the Seahawks to a 37-9 victory over the Falcons on Sunday, positioning them alongside the Rams for the NFC West title. He had a solid day, throwing for 249 yards, three touchdowns, with one interception, and added 23 rushing yards, showcasing his mobility.
Darnold has proven to be one of the league’s more consistent quarterbacks, boasting a 51.8% success rate. He’s also among the top 10 in passing yards, EPA, and ADOT. With an average of 15.4 fantasy points per game and only around 40% ownership, he could be the player fantasy managers need for the playoffs.
Week 15 matchups: vs. Indianapolis Colts, 4:25 p.m. ET
Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars (50.8%)
The Jaguars had a crucial win, taking down the Colts 36-19, which secured them the top spot in the AFC South. Although Lawrence’s passing wasn’t overwhelmingly efficient, completing 56.7% of his attempts for 244 yards and two touchdowns, he did what was needed to secure the win for the fourth consecutive year.
Just like Darnold, Lawrence is a top-paid fantasy quarterback. He’s ranked in the top 12 but is only claimed in about half the leagues. And what about the Jets on the schedule this week? It’s a prime moment to give him a shot.
Week 15 matchups: vs. New York Jets, 1 p.m. ET
Jacoby Brissett, QB, Arizona Cardinals (37.4%)
The Cardinals fell to the Rams 45-17 last Sunday, but that blemish doesn’t overshadow Brissett’s performances. He posted solid stats for fantasy—throwing for 271 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. This marks his fifth game with 40 or more pass attempts and his fifth this year with over 20 fantasy points.
With Kyler Murray’s season officially over, it’s likely we won’t see him in Arizona again. This opens things up for Brissett, who could continue to put up impressive numbers and may even secure a spot for next season.
Week 15 matchups: @Houston Texans, 1 p.m. ET.
Tyler Shaw, QB, New Orleans Saints (7.7%)
Recently, the Saints pulled off a surprising 24-20 win over the Buccaneers, marking an important victory in Shaw’s brief starting career. In the rain at Raymond James Stadium, he recorded 144 passing yards and one interception, plus he shined on the ground with 55 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
With 22.3 fantasy points, he landed in the top-10 for fantasy QBs this week, and it seems he’s building confidence as the season goes on. There’s not much pressure on the Saints for the remainder of the year, making first-year starters like Shaw potentially exciting to watch.
Week 15 matchups: vs. Carolina Panthers, 4:25 p.m. ET
