Drake May’s Supportive Moment
Drake May, the quarterback for the 11-2 Patriots, is feeling quite proud these days. Not just for leading his team, but also because his wife, Ann Michael May, recently shot to fame on TikTok thanks to a viral baking video.
“It was amazing,” May expressed, as reported by NESN. His wife, who’s been on a creative journey exploring holiday treats, has been getting a lot of attention. “I can’t help but try everything she makes. I even take some of the leftovers to the locker room,” he added.
Ann Michael, who has been with May since childhood, has gathered almost 200,000 followers on TikTok through her “Bakemas” series, where she shares festive recipes. She’s committed to whipping up something new every day for Christmas.
The baking video she posted on December 1 has already racked up 1.5 million views, and the numbers seem to be climbing as the days go by.
“Long live the Queen of New England,” one enthusiastic commenter remarked, while another pointed out, “Gisele never did Bakemasu with us,” referencing Tom Brady’s ex-wife.
As for Drake, he’s been impressing Patriots fans this season. The 23-year-old, picked third overall in the 2024 draft, has thrown 23 touchdowns against six interceptions in 13 games so far. In contrast, his rookie season saw him complete 15 touchdowns with 10 interceptions.
The Patriots, known for their six Super Bowl victories under Brady and Bill Belichick, currently hold the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs and lead their division.
This Sunday, they’ll face off against the rival Bills, seeking a win over Josh Allen and his team for the first time since 2019. The last meeting saw New England victorious with a score of 23-20 in October.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Gillette Stadium.
