A pastor and his wife from Florida believe they’ve witnessed a miracle after a plane made an emergency landing on an interstate, thankfully resulting in no fatalities and saving a woman.
Pastor Bernard Wigley of Thy Kingdom Come Ministries and his wife, Annie—a nurse—were driving on Interstate 95 on Monday when they spotted a small Beechcraft 55 plane, which was forced to land on the highway. It quickly became a frightening scene when the aircraft collided with a vehicle, crushing much of its roof.
Remarkably, the 57-year-old woman inside the damaged car survived. The pilot sustained only minor injuries.
The incident was captured on video and has since gained a lot of attention online.

“I really believe it was God who saved her, even though it was just the pilots landing and hitting one car. Clearly, God was in control,” said Annie Wigley.
At that moment, the Wigleys were taking their daughter to the airport and happened to be praying together.
Fortunately, the plane managed to land in a space between traffic areas. Bernard Wigley mentioned that had the plane landed even a second earlier or later, it might have led to a catastrophic situation.
“It could have turned into complete chaos, total destruction. There could have been 12 to 15 cars involved. A fire from the plane’s fuel could’ve erupted, just like you see in movies,” he stated.
At the time, the couple was driving in the opposite direction on the interstate when the accident occurred, and they quickly pulled over to assist.
“Traffic halted for a bit, and I rushed across the road to check on any injuries,” said Bernard.
Annie’s daughter, who is also a nurse, was understandably on edge.
“It was frightening. I honestly thought there might be someone who was hurt or even dead,” she remarked.
The car’s occupants were understandably shaken but uninjured.
“The vehicle was nearly completely destroyed except for the driver’s seat—the only undamaged part. It was really crushed,” Bernard explained.
Annie added, “I owe my gratitude and respect to God for saving my life that day. It truly was a miracle.”
