Tense Encounter for Jacob Elordi in Paris
Jacob Elordi recently found himself in a bit of a sticky situation with a photographer in Paris. On Wednesday, as he was at Gare du Nord, he maintained a low profile, trying to avoid too much attention.
The photographer, trying to lighten the mood, exclaimed, “Jacob, we love you!” This was amidst Elordi being surrounded by security guards. A clip of the incident circulated on social media, capturing the moment.
Things took a turn when Elordi removed one of his headphones and remarked, “You’ve made my life really difficult.” The photographer quickly followed up with the same sentiment, declaring their affection, to which Elordi retorted, “I don’t love you,” adding, “You make life really hard for me.”
As the video spread, fans immediately jumped to Elordi’s defense. Many expressed empathy, with one commenter saying, “Honestly, it breaks my heart 💔,” while another noted the lack of friendliness in the interaction.
In response to the situation, a third supporter emphasized, “You can love someone’s work without making their life harder to live. Jacob deserves the same basic humanity and leeway as anyone else.” Someone else chimed in, saying, “If someone was stalking me like this, I would have been annoyed from the start 🤨.”
This latest incident is reminiscent of another uncomfortable moment Elordi faced a few months back at the Venice Film Festival. During the premiere of “Frankenstein,” he was seen in a brief conversation with someone who seemed to be his bodyguard.
In that instance, Elordi had confidently stated, “I’m going to take a photo here,” to festival staff, only to later assert, “Never tell me what to do.” Despite those awkward moments, a fan who shared a video from the event remarked that Elordi was “very nice” and took photos with them, adding, “He’s so sexy and nice.”
