Kiarna Stewart on Season 2 of Real Housewives of Potomac
Kiarna Stewart, in her second season as a full-time cast member on Real Housewives of Potomac, seems to have struck a good balance in her life. As the owner of K. Stewart Beauty and Wellness and K. Stewart Skin Collection, she has been empowering numerous women to enhance their self-esteem. While she enjoys a solid relationship with her partner Greg Diggs, this season has seen some friction with cast members like Wendy Osefo and Stacey Rush. Stewart, however, remains unbothered and is determined to assert her truth. “I didn’t have the batteries in my back that I needed to tell the truth,” she stated.
Stewart, who has a longstanding friendship with newcomer Angel Massey, was initially optimistic about Angel blending into the group. “I was so excited to have her be part of the group,” she reflected, expressing disappointment at Massey’s initial struggles. Still, there is hope: “The more she was with the women, the more Masse eventually learned her way. I’m so proud of her,” Stewart commented.
As the Season 10 reunion approaches, Stewart is focusing on addressing any issues head-on. “I’m going to try to get people to talk about any issues they might have with me at the reunion,” she noted. “They say it’s a ‘K’ problem, but I think it’s a ‘their’ problem.” It helps that she has the return of Monique Samuels this season, who Stewart described as a refreshing presence. “The moment she walked in, she was bright,” Stewart said. “She’s a girl’s girl.”
Stopping by to chat about the season, Stewart shared her thoughts about everything from her business to friendships.
Q: Did you feel you had to step up this season, or was it a natural progression?
A: It was completely natural. As you learn more about people, you see what you like and don’t like. Honestly, I lacked the energy to tell the truth at times. That’s what’s showing this season.
Q: What did you think about Greg taking your mom shopping for an angel ring?
Honestly, I was surprised. Greg and I had talked about the ring, but I didn’t know he’d actually take her shopping.
Q: Does your mom know her rising fame for her beauty?
[Laughs] Not sure if she realizes it yet! “Hey mom, you’re famous!”
Q: Can you update us on K. Stewart Beauty and Wellness?
Business is thriving. I’m not sure if I’m the first, but I do have the first black-owned med spa in Harbor East. Exposure from the show has really helped.
Q: What about your beauty routine?
I follow the 80/20 rule and consistently use the K. Stewart Skin Collection. I get Botox every three months and also do microneedling. It’s all about skincare.
Q: Have women been supportive of your business?
Absolutely! Karen Huger, Wendy Osefo, Tia Glover, and Angel have all been here for services.
Q: How was your first impression of Monique Samuels?
A breath of fresh air. She was vibrant and real. I immediately connected with her; it felt like we had known each other forever.
Q: Why did you feel the need to get involved in the Stacey and Chris scandal?
I didn’t actively seek it out—the information just came my way. I handled it as best I could.
Q: What’s your response to Wendy naming you as a potential suspect regarding Chris Samuels?
I think we both know I wasn’t involved in that. I was just passing on what I heard.
Q: Is it tough watching friends struggle in the group?
Absolutely, it hurts. I was really excited for Angel to join the group, and seeing her struggle has been disappointing.
Q: What advice would you give her for a potential return?
I’d tell her to express how she feels right from the start. She seemed to be more of an observer initially.
Q: Any teasers about the upcoming trip to Colorado?
She brought great energy—it’s going to be a fun time!
Q: Are you excited about Karen Huger’s return?
Definitely! I can’t wait to see her with Andy. The trailer looks promising.
Q: What issues are you looking forward to discussing at the reunion?
I won’t bring up complaints. I want to hear any concerns people have. I think the problems are theirs, not mine.
Q: If you could choose a celebrity to host the reunion with Andy, who would it be?
I’d love Cardi B to bring her perspective to the group!
