Fox News Digital Tops Competitors in November Metrics
In November, Fox News Digital maintained its lead over competitors, becoming a prominent source of information and discussion amid a busy news cycle.
Comscore reported that Fox News Digital reached nearly 1.6 billion multiplatform views, outpacing the New York Times, which had 1.4 billion views, and CNN’s 697 million. Remarkably, this marks the 19th straight month that Fox News Digital has held the top spot in significant categories.
In terms of multiplatform minutes, Fox News Digital again outperformed rivals for 57 months in a row, logging 3.1 billion minutes. The Times and CNN both fell behind with 1.1 billion minutes each.
Interestingly, CBS News, NBC News, and ABC News recorded fewer than 500 million multiplatform views and under 1 billion viewing minutes, clearly trailing Fox News Digital.
Fox News Digital attracted 165 million unique multiplatform visitors in November—up 44% from the previous year—outshining CNN, the Times, NBC News, and ABC News in terms of visitor numbers.
On YouTube, the platform saw approximately 300 million video views for Fox News in November, significantly surpassing CNN’s 201 million and ABC’s 132 million. This achievement positioned Fox News for its best ever performance on YouTube as December approaches.
Furthermore, during November, the Fox News mobile app recorded 6.4 million unique visitors, outdoing the CNN app, which had 3.7 million.
Social media was another area where Fox News excelled. The network garnered 108 million interactions across platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and X, based on statistics from Emplifi and Shareablee.
Notably, Fox News secured 19.7 million interactions on TikTok alone and saw a remarkable 358% increase in Facebook interactions compared to November 2024. The numbers further included 18.7 million interactions on Instagram and 4.6 million on X.
Overall, Fox News achieved an impressive 1.5 billion social media video views across platforms such as TikTok, X, Facebook, and Instagram.
This surge in viewership and engagement came as the Trump administration remained a hot topic, especially following the election of Democratic Socialist Zoran Mamdani as mayor of New York and his subsequent high-profile meeting with President Trump.
Fox News Digital, along with CBSNews.com, NBCNews.com, WashingtonPost.com, and ABCNews.com, have all chosen to include social increments in their total digital multiplatform unique visitors, a move not adopted by The New York Times and CNN.com.
