NFL unveils Week 18 schedule with playoff spots at stake

2025 NFL Regular Season Final Game Schedule Released

The schedule for the last week of the 2025 NFL regular season is officially set.

With two division titles up for grabs and the top seeds in the AFC and NFC yet to be determined, Week 18 is shaping up to be critical. In the AFC, the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots are in a tight race for the No. 1 seed. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers will square off against the Baltimore Ravens for the AFC North title in a rematch this season.

On the NFC side, the Seattle Seahawks are aiming to secure the top seed, while the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will clash for the NFC South championship.

Here’s a rundown of the Week 18 schedule, along with some thoughts on the significance of the key matchups.

Carolina Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 4:30 p.m. ET

Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers, 8 p.m. ET

The action begins with the NFC South showdown between the Panthers and Buccaneers. While this game won’t definitively crown the division winner, things could get interesting. If the Atlanta Falcons manage to win their last two games, well, a three-way tie might emerge. But of course, if the Falcons lose to the Los Angeles Rams during Monday Night Football, the victor of the Carolina-Tampa Bay match will determine the NFC South champion.

Later that night, the San Francisco 49ers will host the Seahawks in a significant battle for both the NFC West title and the No. 1 seed in the conference. So, that should be intriguing.

Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m. ET

Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 1:00 p.m. ET

Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans, 1:00 p.m. ET

Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants, 1:00 p.m. ET

New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons, 1:00 p.m. ET

Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. ET

Of the early matchups, only the game between the Jaguars and Texans carries playoff stakes. If Jacksonville wins and Houston loses or ties, Jacksonville takes the district title. The Texans can clinch the AFC South too, but they need to win and hope for a Jaguars loss.

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Denver Broncos, 4:25 p.m. ET

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders, 4:25 p.m. ET

Washington Commanders vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 4:25 p.m. ET

New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills, 4:25 p.m. ET

Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots, 4:25 p.m. ET

Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams, 4:25 p.m. ET

Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears, 4:25 p.m. ET

In the late afternoon games, the AFC will sort out the No. 1 seed as the Broncos host the Chargers, while the Patriots take on the Dolphins. Denver currently holds a tiebreaker against New England in this race. A simple win for the Broncos means they clinch the top seed. On the flip side, for the Patriots to take the No. 1 seed, they need a victory paired with either a Broncos loss or tie. A loss for New England could drop them from second to third, especially if the Jaguars win against the Titans earlier that day.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, 8:15 p.m. ET

The matchup between the Ravens and Steelers is crucial, as the winner will snatch the AFC North title and the conference’s last playoff spot. The loser, on the other hand, will likely be left watching the playoffs from home.
