Exploring the challenges and arrests in Victoria, Tommy Lee Jones' daughter, following her unexpected passing

Victoria Jones, daughter of Tommy Lee Jones, faced legal issues prior to her tragic passing at 34 in a Northern California hotel.

Court documents reveal that she was arrested multiple times in Napa County, California, in 2025.

In April, she faced charges for interfering with a peace officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possessing one. She pleaded not guilty to these charges.

Then, in June, she was arrested again on allegations of domestic violence and elder abuse, to which she also entered a not guilty plea.

Earlier, in June 2011, Victoria was detained in San Antonio, Texas, on suspicion of theft involving amounts between $50 and $500, but those charges were eventually dismissed.

On New Year’s Day 2026, early in the morning, a hotel guest found Victoria unresponsive on the 14th floor of the Fairmont San Francisco Hotel. The guest, appearing to be intoxicated, alerted hotel staff, who called 911 and attempted CPR.

The situation was classified as ‘Overdose, Color Change Code 3,’ indicating a possible drug overdose with cyanosis.

Emergency responders arrived and attempted to revive her, but unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers from the San Francisco Police Department noted no signs of foul play, trauma, or drug paraphernalia, and there was no evidence suggesting suicide.

Details surrounding whether she was a registered guest at the hotel or how she ended up on the floor remain unclear.

The investigation is still underway.

Tommy, now 79, has Victoria and their son Austin, who is 43, with his second wife, Kimberly Crawley.

The Jones family representatives have yet to comment on the situation.
