A father was severely injured in a violent confrontation at Disneyland after he confronted a family attempting to cut in line for the Indiana Jones ride, according to shaken relatives.
The father, whose name hasn’t been disclosed, was attacked on Tuesday while waiting with his teenage daughter at the Anaheim theme park, as reported by his family members.
This incident, shared in a Reddit discussion by relatives of the victim, resulted in the father needing multiple stitches and left him with numerous bruises.
The altercation, which broke out around 1 PM, began when the alleged assailant became enraged after being accused of trying to bypass the wait with his family.
Witnesses described a harrowing scene, noting that the attacker, wearing light green sweatpants, continued to assault the father while he was crouched on the ground for about a minute.
“It was really disturbing, and the man who attacked him fled the scene,” one witness recounted in a Reddit post.
The victim had blood covering his face, prompting Disney staff to shut down the line and clean up the blood in several areas.
Another onlooker expressed their shock, saying, “I thought he was going to die.”
During the chaos, the father’s daughter was heard shouting, “stop hitting my dad” as the attack unfolded.
It’s still unclear if the police managed to apprehend the attackers following the incident.
