Trump-Linked Super PAC Raises Nearly $300 Million

A super PAC associated with former President Donald Trump has reported a remarkable financial boost of almost $300 million for the upcoming 2026 midterm elections, as detailed in filings with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Thursday.

MAGA Inc. disclosed it holds about $294 million in cash, and they state this funding will support candidates who align with Trump’s policies. A spokesperson for MAGA remarked, “Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, we have the necessary resources to back candidates who advocate for his America First agenda, focusing on border security, safety, economic revival, and affordability for all Americans,” according to the New York Post.

In the latter half of 2025, the super PAC raised $102 million, which included 25 significant donations of at least $1 million.

The largest contributor to this effort was Greg Brockman, president and co-founder of OpenAI, who provided a hefty $25 million donation in September. Recently, he mentioned on X that he is becoming more politically engaged in 2025, indicating his support for policies that aim to enhance U.S. innovation and foster productive discussion between government and the tech industry.

Notably, this fundraising occurs despite Trump not being on the ballot this year, which highlights the PAC’s focus on backing Republican candidates in upcoming elections.

House GOP Campaign Chair Calls for Trump’s Involvement

Interestingly, MAGA has decided not to engage significantly in the 2022 midterms, opting instead to reserve its resources for Trump’s 2024 campaign. Reports indicate super PACs spent $456 million to support Trump’s bid for the White House.

Last November, MAGA launched an advertisement endorsing Matt Van Epps, the Republican who won against Democrat Aftin Behn in a Tennessee state election.

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has also signaled his intent to support Republican candidates in the midterms. He commented on X, “America will be happy if the radical left wins. They will open the floodgates to illegal immigration and fraud.”
