Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was killed on September 10 while attempting to engage in discussions with liberal groups. Since this incident, Democrats and the left have escalated violence and inflammatory language rather than retreating or attempting to diffuse hate.
One might expect that those with a sensible agenda would advise their followers to take a step back and allow tensions to cool. But that’s not what happened on the left. Rather than appearing rational, liberals intensified their actions. They celebrated Kirk’s murder and increased the risks associated with political discourse in the aftermath.
Numerous instances can showcase the left’s reaction to Kirk’s tragic death. Yet, beyond the obvious celebrations, they expressed their discontent in various other violent ways toward the year’s end. Here are 25 occasions where the left indulged in extreme actions.
Just days following Kirk’s assassination, Jimmy Kimmel, struggling with his late-night ratings, falsely claimed that Kirk’s murderer was a supporter of MAGA before being suspended from the show. Following his exit, a left-leaning individual fired a weapon at the Sacramento ABC affiliate.
This particular liberal incident wasn’t an isolated case. On September 21, a man was arrested while shouting “Liberate Palestine” at a New Hampshire country club in the aftermath of another shooting.
Shortly afterward, another man was arrested for allegedly attacking an ICE facility in Dallas, Texas, with authorities reporting that the bullets he used were marked “anti-ICE.”
Democratic officials also joined the chaotic scene. On September 25, a prominent senator from Wisconsin physically assaulted a fellow Republican senator during a Senate committee meeting at the Capitol.
Bree Montoya, a Democratic City Council member from Norman, Oklahoma, resigned after it came to light that she had posted instructions on social media on how Republicans could take their own lives, implying that all Republicans deserved to die.
A Democratic candidate for education commissioner in New Jersey faced backlash for sending vile and sexually explicit messages about conservative female board members in a chat group named “ThisBitchNeedsToDie.”
Another Democrat was arrested for threatening a Virginia Republican representative, resulting in charges against him.
One more individual was charged in Virginia, receiving violent threats. Authorities counted him arrested for endangering the life of Republican Rep. Geary Higgins.
At a national level, Democratic candidates for the Helena, Montana City Commission were accused of leaving threatening voicemails directed at a Republican senator.
On Election Day, a person who had actually committed murder was elected to the Bangor, Maine City Council.
In Maine, Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner, who was found to have a Nazi tattoo, faced criticism after online posts resurfaced where he celebrated Kirk’s murder and suggested that MAGA supporters should be subjected to “forced labor camps.”
Comments from those in education also exhibited violent tendencies. Felicia Branch, a law professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, lost her position in October for celebrating Kirk’s brutal murder on social media.
A Chicago teacher was filmed
Back on campus, left-wing students at the University of Iowa were arrested after violently overturning a table set up by TPUSA.
In El Paso, Texas, a group set fire to a church to disrupt Charlie Kirk’s memorial service.
And the list goes on.
Another radical individual attacked a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services employee during a restroom visit at the United Nations General Assembly.
A famous rapper also became a victim of left-wing violence. Ice Cube found his tour bus firebombed by protestors in Portland, mistaking it for an ICE vehicle.
Then, in October, a man in Washington, D.C. was arrested after arming himself and holding a manifesto that demonstrated “grave hostility” towards diverse groups including Catholics, Jews, and ICE officials.
There was also the suspect of the deadly Palisades fire in October who turned out to be a donor to Biden.
Later, a woman in Massachusetts was charged for threatening to kill an ICE officer, declaring, “Charlie Kirk is dead but we love it! We’re coming for you!”
In another instance where individuals threatened ICE agents, two were arrested on allegations of being part of an Antifa group planning to assassinate ICE officers.
Liberal parents also stirred controversy when their children were seen physically attacking a Donald Trump effigy during a “No Kings” event in late October.
Left-wing protesters in Denver were arrested for allegedly attacking a pro-American protestor and stealing his glasses.
Pro-Trump demonstrators dressed as Trump faced assaults at a “No Kings” rally in Boston.
A resident from Massachusetts was convicted for threatening a Republican state lawmaker.
In another encounter at a “No Kings” rally, Blaze Media correspondent Alex Stein was assaulted at one of the gatherings.
Lastly, Politico “reporter” Josh Gerstein recently suggested that it might be acceptable to eliminate anyone looking into alleged scandals in Minnesota.
Honestly, I could list numerous more cases occurring in the three months since Charlie Kirk’s murder. However, that might just overwhelm the situation. What matters is that the Democratic Party has not shied away from perpetuating hate, unrest, and criminal activities since they celebrated the brutal murder of a conservative activist, husband, and dedicated father who merely aimed to foster dialogue.
