Bill Hader and Ali Wong End Their Relationship
Bill Hader and Ali Wong’s on-again, off-again romance seems to have reached its conclusion.
The two comedians reportedly decided to part ways due to a “challenging” schedule, as shared by various sources.
According to reports, Wong, 43, is gearing up for an “upcoming stand-up tour,” while Hader, 47, has multiple film and television projects lined up this year.
Despite the split, the former couple is said to be concentrating on their careers and children, while continuing to support each other. A source noted that they remain “very friendly” and keep in touch.
As of now, representatives for both Hader and Wong have not responded to inquiries regarding the situation.
This relationship began around December 2022, shortly after both Wong’s divorce from Justin Hakuta and Hader’s split from Anna Kendrick. At that time, it was noted that their relationship was quite brief.
A source commented that they were both preoccupied but managed to maintain a friendly connection, adding that a tight circle of comedian friends was aware of their dating.
By April of the following year, it appeared that they had reconciled. Hader casually referred to Wong as his “girlfriend” in an interview, mentioning how he hadn’t taken a vacation in nearly a decade, though his getaway to San Francisco didn’t seem like much of one.
His representative confirmed that he was, indeed, talking about Wong.
The pair made a public appearance together at the Directors Guild of America Awards in February 2025, marking their red carpet debut. While they kept their relationship on the down-low, Wong previously shared during a press conference in 2024 how Hader had impressed her with a large floral arrangement.
They first connected through a dating app, with Hader expressing his long-time admiration for Wong and even mentioning he had shared with a friend that she was “the woman of my dreams.”
