Donna Kelsey Discusses Traitor Season 4 Cast Concerns
Donna Kelsey recently shared her thoughts about filming for Season 4 of “Traitor,” admitting she hoped that her sons, Travis and Jason Kelsey’s ex-girlfriend wouldn’t be part of the cast.
During a cast roundup for the competition show, when asked whom she’d like to encounter in a Scottish castle, the 73-year-old remarked, “Perhaps my sons have enemies.” It’s an interesting thought, right?
She elaborated, suggesting that it could be anyone—another competitor, maybe a coach, or even a former girlfriend.
Donna expressed a desire to meet some notable figures, specifically mentioning Stevie Nicks, Martha Stewart, or Shaquille O’Neal.
Though she didn’t specify any past girlfriends, it’s worth noting that Travis had a brief stint with Maya Bembury after they connected on “Chasing Kelsey” back in 2016. That relationship didn’t last long, though, lasting just a few months after the show wrapped up.
After Maya, Travis went on to date Kayla Nicole, with their relationship being a bit tumultuous—from 2017 until they finally split in 2022. Kayla has been open about her feelings surrounding their breakup, even touching upon it in Season 3 of “Special Forces” in 2024.
In one of the episodes, Donna candidly reflected on the emotional toll of dealing with a “public breakup,” providing a glimpse into the challenges Travis has faced. It’s interesting to note that he recently ended his engagement with Taylor Swift in July 2023, after a memorable attempt to impress her at the Ellas Tour in Kansas City.
Their relationship was made public in October 2023, and they announced their engagement in August 2025.
On a different note, Jason Kelsey tied the knot with his wife, Kylie, in 2018. They have been together since 2014 and are the proud parents of four daughters: Wyatt, Elliot, Bennett, and Finley.
“Traitor” Season 4 is set to premiere on Peacock on January 8 at 9 PM ET. It should be quite the show!
