YUNGBLUD Takes to the Seas in Sydney
During a recent tour, British rocker YUNGBLUD was spotted enjoying himself on a luxury yacht in Sydney Harbour, and, well, he wasn’t wearing much. Accompanying him was Dina Broadhurst, a local socialite and artist known for her provocative self-portraits, which have led to her being dubbed the “nude artist.”
Broadhurst, who is 50, has had a long-standing presence in Sydney’s social scene and boasts a significant following of 363,000 on social media. Her art often features a fusion of photography with collages, frequently spotlighting her own naked form.
Interestingly, Broadhurst expressed mixed feelings about being labeled as such. In a roundtable interview last August, she admitted, “I hate any label.” She went on to explain that while she appreciates the attention, navigating public perception can be tricky. Privacy has become a challenge, she acknowledged, yet she seems to find comfort in her artistic expression.
Having celebrated her milestone 50th birthday in September, Broadhurst remarked that age is “just a number,” expressing joy in her life and looking forward to what’s next. She commented, “It’s the best feeling I’ve ever felt.” Yet, she also noted that societal views on aging can be somewhat absurd; there seems to be a stigma associated with getting older.
As for her relationship status, Broadhurst has had an on-again, off-again connection with billionaire John Winning. They were spotted together frequently, leading her to reveal that they had rekindled things after previously splitting up.
In addition to her romantic life, Broadhurst has made headlines for her financial decisions. Recently, she sold an apartment in Darling Point that she once shared with ex-partner Max Shepherd for $8 million—though it was a decline from the original asking price of $11.5 million.
Meanwhile, despite YUNGBLUD’s recent antics, it seems that his friendship with Broadhurst remains strong. She was seen at his concert at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, enjoying the show from the VIP section right beside the stage.
