A Cheeky Choice
Teyana Taylor made a memorable statement at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, showcasing a striking Schiaparelli haute couture halter neck dress. The front looked stunning, but the back told a much bolder story.
The 35-year-old star of *One Battle After Another* turned heads at the Beverly Hills ceremony, sporting a crystal-embellished thong that peeked through a back cutout accentuated by a sparkling bow.
“The cracks are covered in diamonds. They’re expensive,” Taylor said during her red carpet interview with E!
She also mentioned that her children, Lou Rose, 5, and Iman “Junie” Tayla, 10, are her “biggest fashion critics,” though they support her adventurous style. “They were alive tonight,” she declared.
The daring dress featured a dramatic neck scarf and draped bodice, giving a glimpse of Taylor’s intricate tattoos on her sternum and upper back.
To complete her look, she wore diamond drop earrings and an array of iced-out bracelets and rings.
Taylor was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Paphidia Beverly Hills in Paul Thomas Anderson’s political thriller, and she was up against notable names like Ariana Grande and Emily Blunt.
Her styling team, Wayman Bannerman and Mika McDonald, certainly went bold for her first Golden Globe nomination.
This isn’t her first time showing off on the red carpet; back at the 2021 Met Gala, her Prabal Gurung toga dress had a daring cut that exposed her colorful back tattoos.
