Despite the swirling rumors online, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton remain very much in love.
In a recent appearance on “Country Countdown USA,” hosted by Ron Helton, Shelton shared his experience regarding the speculations surrounding their relationship. He mentioned that around October or November, he began to see headlines claiming they were separated or even getting a divorce.
“Ron, that’s great,” he noted. “Then, suddenly, a week later, a photo of us at the grocery store surfaced, and it was like, ‘Oh, they’re back together!’ But then another week went by and we weren’t spotted again, and the headlines shifted back to divorce.” He jokingly told Stefani, “I don’t know what’s happening out there.”
Interestingly, Shelton also revealed that he has been affected by artificial intelligence in terms of what he sees online. “Sometimes, I come across images of Gwen and me that seem so real, but then I think, ‘I don’t even own that shirt.’ It makes you wonder, right?”
He admitted that he’s learned to be more skeptical about what he consumes online, stating, “I really don’t believe anything I see on the internet anymore.” He expressed disbelief over the constant ups and downs in public perception of their relationship.
Gwen, 56, and Blake, 49, initially crossed paths in 2014 during Season 7 of “The Voice.” At that time, both had been married to other partners. Fast forward to July 2015, and they both found themselves single. They officially began dating shortly after, and tied the knot in a personal ceremony in July 2021 at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch.
Stefani previously emphasized the importance of having a “third party” in their marriage, attributing it to their stability. On “The Drew Barrymore Show,” she shared the best relationship advice she received, which involved looking up and recognizing that divine guidance could play a role in keeping their marriage strong. “The best advice would be to always have a third party,” she remarked, pointing to the sky.
