Casey Anthony criticizes federal agencies in the Renee Nicole Good case

The mass shooting involving ICE in Minneapolis has captured significant national attention and brought a controversial figure into the spotlight.

Casey Anthony, often referred to as “America’s most hated mother,” has publicly criticized federal authorities in a recent post. She directed her remarks towards Vice President J.D. Vance, alleging that the government is attempting to shield ICE agents from accountability in the shooting death of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good.

In her statement, Anthony argued, “Federal law enforcement officers will not be granted immunity simply because it is convenient for you and this government. This also applies to Gestapo agents at ICE.” She called for a thorough investigation into the incident, similar to other police-related crimes, and requested transparency through the release of the investigation report and body camera footage.

Anthony claimed that federal authorities are unnecessarily keeping the case under federal review instead of allowing local Minnesota officials to take charge. She accused the Justice Department of misleading the public about the investigation’s handling.

“We are watching. We are holding government officials accountable,” Anthony continued, emphasizing that federal law enforcement should be held to the same standards as citizens. She expressed concerns about whether justice is being served for victims and their families in light of several shootings involving federal agents.

The incident occurred during an ICE enforcement operation in south Minneapolis, where an agent shot and killed Good, claiming self-defense after she threatened officers with her vehicle—something ICE argued justified the use of deadly force. However, state and local leaders have expressed skepticism about this account and have called for greater transparency, including the release of evidence related to the case.

Now 38, Casey Anthony was acquitted in 2011 of her two-year-old daughter’s death but was found guilty of lying to law enforcement. The circumstances of her daughter’s death remain unresolved. Despite her acquittal, she continues to be a divisive figure in American society, frequently featured in documentaries and television shows.

Inquiries regarding comments from Vance’s office and Anthony’s attorney have been made.
