Recently, a mom shared a funny TikTok video that tested the willpower of her two Golden Retrievers. The video features Tucker, the older dog, and Todd, the younger one, each eyeing a single chicken nugget placed before them.
After telling them to “leave it,” she walks out of the room. The suspense builds as both pups are faced with the delicious nugget, mere inches away, and it’s obvious they’re wrestling with the temptation.
Poor Todd didn’t have much chance—he started drooling before she even stepped out. Tucker, however, kept his focus ahead, seemingly aware that looking at the nugget would only make it harder to resist.
Interestingly, Tucker seemed to communicate silently with Todd, who remained fixated on the nugget since their mom left the room.
Eventually, they couldn’t withstand the temptation any longer and both dogs devoured the nugget in an instant. When their mom returned and asked what had happened, they both froze. Tucker laid his head on the table, and Todd hid beneath it, as if that would somehow help.
