Megan Thee Stallion at Madison Square Garden
Megan Thee Stallion made an appearance at Monday’s Knicks vs. Mavericks game, but it seems she wasn’t exactly cheering for the Knicks.
After the Mavericks triumphed 114-97, she shared a celebratory kiss with her boyfriend, Klay Thompson, after he scored 14 points during the game.
This outing was a bit of a rarity for the three-time Grammy winner, who recently shared with People that her music journey has felt a bit stalled this year.
It appears Thompson, a veteran NBA player and four-time champion with the Warriors, may have sparked some new creativity in her. She mentioned, “I feel like I’m in a feminine phase in my life right now,” clarifying that it isn’t solely about men. Speaking on “October’s Jennifer Hudson Show,” she elaborated, “I’ve been through a lot. I used to feel defensive, but now I’m more at peace with myself. I feel so confident and relaxed, embracing my softer side.”
She further reflected on finding love, saying, “I’m experiencing a much healthier kind of love than I have before, and perhaps that’s why Klay entered my life when he did.” She playfully added, though, that she still embodies the “hot girl” persona, but her affection for him is undeniable.
The couple has been together since July 2025, marking their relationship with a playful poolside picture of Megan in a bikini with Thompson.
Recently, they hinted at potentially living together, sharing a sweet photo in October where they made a heart with their hands while holding house keys.
In a light-hearted moment captured at a Dunkin’ drive-thru, Megan asked Thompson, “Are you a proud boyfriend?” to which he happily replied, “I’m very honored.”
It wasn’t just Thompson who got some affection from Megan that night; she also exchanged hugs with other celebrities like Tracy Morgan and Giants quarterback Russell Wilson, who were there to show their support.
