During the College Football Playoff national championship game on Monday night, many were taken aback to see Jordon Hudson and Alix Earle together.
Hudson shared a photo on her Instagram Story showing the two in a suite at Hard Rock Stadium, where the Hoosiers triumphed over the Hurricanes with a score of 27-21, marking their first national championship win.
Perhaps humorously, Hudson, who is dating UNC football coach Bill Belichick, referred to Earle as a “friend from another timeline.”
Belichick, although not in the photo, was also present at the game and made an appearance on ESPN’s “College Gameday” ahead of the kickoff.
Earle, who gained attention recently for connecting with Tom Brady at a New Year’s Eve celebration in St. Bart’s, mentioned in a TikTok video that he tailgated to the game with friends from college.
Brady, a minority owner of the Raiders, attended the game as well, along with Las Vegas team owner Mark Davis. This provided Brady a chance to evaluate Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, a prospect expected to be picked first in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft.
Both Brady and Belichick have a history, winning six Super Bowl titles together while with the Patriots.
While there seemed to be some tension between Brady and Belichick during the game, Hudson Earle’s candid moments caught my attention. Earle, a Hurricanes grad set to finish in May 2023, was also featured in a lively suite video shared by hospitality expert Dave Grutman.
Other attendees included Livvy Dunn, Paul Skeens, John Summitt, and John George from Rufus de Sol.
For Miami fans, it was a tough loss. Quarterback Carson Beck threw an interception to Jamari Sharp with 44 seconds remaining, allowing Indiana to manage the clock and secure their victory at 27-21.
In his final college game, Beck recorded 232 yards and one touchdown. On the flip side, Mendoza, the 2025 Heisman Trophy winner, completed 16 of 37 passes for 186 yards, including a notable rushing touchdown, aiding the Hoosiers in achieving an undefeated season.
