Jennifer Lawrence Shares Her Quirky Nicknames

This week, Jennifer Lawrence opened up about having at least four amusing nicknames throughout her life.

During a chat on Amy Poehler’s podcast “Good Hang,” the “No Hard Feelings” actress shared some risqué anecdotes. “Boobs,” she joked. “That’s my official government name—Boobs Lawrence.”

Her friends like to call her “Ken from Barbie” too, saying she’s “just Ken.” It’s a light-hearted jab at her sometimes silly questions. “When I ask something dumb, they say, ‘She’s just Ken,’” she added with a laugh.

At the start of the interview, Lawrence also touched on how “embarrassing” a recent photo shoot was. “They kept saying, ‘I thought you weren’t going to wear a bra at a time like this,’ and I just felt awkward saying, ‘I have two kids,’” the 35-year-old shared.

She quipped, “‘You want to see something? Come over here and I’ll show you something.’”

Lawrence further reflected on her body image changes since giving birth to her second son about a year ago. She mentioned feeling unwell postpartum and not eating much, which led her to believe she’d lost more weight than she actually had. “I thought, ‘Let’s do strapless!’ My baby was only about three weeks old then,” she chuckled.

Surprisingly, she noted that she hadn’t heard people mention how “thinner” she appeared in her recent film, *Die My Love,* despite being pregnant during the shooting. “I was waiting for someone to say, ‘Wow, you look so skinny!’ but no one did. No Ozempic rumors either,” she joked.

While she didn’t delve into how she got the nickname “Flofin,” she did explain that her older brothers called her “Nitro” when she was a child. “I was really excited, and they named me Nitro,” she recalled.

Poehler chimed in about her own experience growing up with two older brothers. “They were really protective… I think that made me tough,” she said. Lawrence agreed, noting that the men she works with often feel like “brothers.”

“Josh Hutcherson was like a brother,” Poehler added. “Robert Pattinson feels like a brother too,” Lawrence said of her co-star from *Die My Love.*
