Major Storm Threatens Over 35 States
The winter storm currently affecting large parts of the country has introduced frigid temperatures, heavy snowfall, and significant ice buildup. This storm is anticipated to influence more than 30 states as it progresses through the weekend.
Starting Thursday, FOX Weather will ramp up live coverage. Correspondents and meteorologists will be on-site from Texas to various cities in the Northeast, delivering real-time updates. For those interested, live programming will be aired from 6 a.m. to midnight ET on both weekend days.
Mike Seidel will kick things off from Tulsa, Oklahoma, with Bain Frony also reporting from Dallas. By Friday, Bob Van Dillen will take charge from Atlanta, while Brandi Campbell will report from Oxford, Mississippi. Then, on Saturday, Katie Byrne reports live from Washington, D.C. Sunday coverage will see meteorologists Jane Minnaar and Britta Merwin in New Jersey and Melanie Black in Boston, with Robert Ray also contributing from New Jersey.
FOX Weather’s meteorologist team, including Craig Herrera, Michael Estime, Stephen Morgan, Ian Oliver, Qiyana Lewis, Ali Salsarari, Nick Koshir, and Haley Meyer, will be monitoring the situation from their New York studios.
