Jaime King's spouse initiates divorce proceedings after she's spotted with a hotel magnate.

Jamie King is facing divorce once more.

According to reports, her husband, Austin Sosa, filed for divorce on Thursday. Interestingly, although there were rumors about their engagement for months, it seems they tied the knot in a private ceremony that went under the radar.

This development follows sightings of King, 46, getting cozy with hotelier Vikram Chatwal in Los Angeles.

Page Six had confirmed in July 2025 that King and Sosa were engaged, though their wedding date remains unknown.

After King was seen wearing a diamond ring, her representative commented, “Jamie is entering a fun new chapter in her engagement to Austin Sosa… She is especially thrilled to be able to share this moment with her children, who have a loving bond with Austin and his family.”

The rep also emphasized, “Her sons remain her top priority and she kindly asks for their privacy to be respected as we move forward together with love and gratitude.”

It’s still unclear when exactly King and Sosa got married, but the divorce filing followed the reports of King’s recent appearance with Chatwal.

Page Six tried reaching out to a representative for King but did not get an immediate response.

King has two sons, James, 12, and Leo, 10, from her previous marriage to Kyle Newman, who she married in November 2007. It’s worth noting that Leo is the godson of pop superstar Taylor Swift.

The divorce from Newman was initiated in May 2020, which sparked a series of contentious legal battles. King accused her ex of abuse, while Newman countered by labeling her a “chronic drug addict and alcoholic,” stating she appeared “groggy” and “drunk” while the boys were in her care.

The two appeared to reconcile in September 2023. However, a month later, after not completing a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, King lost physical custody of her sons but was granted supervised visitation.
