Bank of America to Open New Financial Center in Carson City

Bank of America has revealed plans to launch a new financial center in Carson City, specifically located at 3245 Market Street, right by Interstate 580 and College Parkway.

This move, which is part of the bank’s broader initiative, aims to enhance retail banking, lending, and small business services for local customers. Additionally, they’ll provide investment and personalized financial advice via Merrill. It’s noteworthy that they’re looking to open 150 new financial centers by 2027.

The upcoming Carson City location is a continuation of Bank of America’s substantial $10 million investment in local financial centers over the past ten years. Currently, they operate 12 refurbished financial centers in Northern Nevada, along with 60 ATMs and a workforce of over 180 local employees.

“We’re dedicated to expanding our services and financial advice as communities in Northern Nevada thrive,” expressed Jamie Adanko, president of Bank of America Reno. “We’re anticipating the grand opening of this center and the role it will play in our national expansion. With advanced technology and dedicated financial professionals on-site, we aim to support both individual consumers and local businesses effectively.”

The new center is expected to create seven local jobs, which is likely to provide a boost to the community’s economy. Furthermore, Bank of America has recently raised the minimum hourly wage for its U.S. employees to $25, establishing a minimum annual salary of $50,000 or more for full-time staff. They also announced an intention to increase hiring at military and community colleges, planning to add 700 jobs across new markets nationwide.

Customers in Northern Nevada will continue to benefit from Bank of America’s advanced digital offerings, meeting the banking and investment needs of over 59 million verified digital clients.
