Trump Discusses Secret Weapon Used in Maduro Raid

President Donald Trump has announced the use of a classified military device referred to as a “discombobler” during the raid in January that led to the capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro.

In an interview with the New York Post conducted in the Oval Office, Trump revealed that this weapon effectively disabled enemy technology during the operation in Caracas on January 3.

“Discombobler. We’re not allowed to talk about it,” Trump stated. He noted that despite Venezuela’s military being equipped with Russian and Chinese missiles, they were unable to defend themselves. “They never fired a rocket. They had all these advanced weapons, but nothing worked when we arrived. It was all set up for us,” he explained.

White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt seemed to corroborate the existence of this weapon on January 10, sharing witness reports on social media. The accounts came from an anonymous Venezuelan security guard who claims to have observed the events during the attack.

A security official mentioned that the radar systems went offline just before U.S. drones and helicopters carrying around 20 soldiers approached the military base. He indicated that something unspecified was deployed by the U.S. military.

“It was like an extremely powerful sound wave. Suddenly, it felt like my head might explode. We all started bleeding from our noses. Some people were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground and couldn’t move,” the guard reported, as shared by Leavitt.

This is not the first time Trump has acknowledged such a weapon. In a previous interview, he indicated, “Nobody else has it,” referring to the device during a discussion with host Katie Pavlich.

This revelation coincides with reports that the Biden administration made significant purchases of pulse energy equipment in its final days. The Pentagon has reportedly been testing a device of this nature for over a year, and some experts suggest it may relate to “Havana syndrome.”

Currently, Maduro is detained in a federal facility in Brooklyn on charges related to drug trafficking and terrorism. Trump indicated he has developed a positive relationship with Venezuela’s interim leader, Delcy Rodriguez. “We have a great relationship with the new president,” he remarked. “She was wonderful.”
