Kennedy Stidham Supports Jarrett Stidham on Game Day
Kennedy Stidham is clearly excited as her husband prepares for a significant moment in his career.
She shared her game-day outfit on Instagram Stories ahead of the AFC Championship game against the Patriots, showcasing a stylish white furry jacket, coordinating white shirt, pants, and black riding boots. Before the game kicked off, she posted a simple yet enthusiastic message: “Let’s go!!!!!!!!”
This Sunday marked Jarrett Stidham’s first start of the season, stepping in for the injured Bo Nix against the Patriots.
Unfortunately, Nix, the Broncos’ regular quarterback, suffered an ankle injury during last week’s victory over the Bills. He is expected to undergo ankle surgery soon and will likely be sidelined for approximately 12 weeks.
The Broncos had a strong regular season, wrapping up with a 14-3 record, which positioned them as the top seed in the AFC heading into the championship.
At Mile High, the Broncos were quick to score, largely thanks to Stidham’s 52-yard throw to wide receiver Marvin Mims on a crucial 3rd-and-10 play in the first quarter. This connection moved them into the red zone, setting up a 6-yard touchdown pass from Stidham to receiver Courtland Sutton.
The initial lead of 7-0 was interrupted when the Patriots managed to tie the game after recovering a fumble from Stidham’s backward pass.
For Stidham, 2023 marks a fresh start in Denver. He was originally a fourth-round pick from Auburn University, entering the NFL with the Patriots in 2019. Three years later, he found himself traded to the Raiders after Josh McDaniels, New England’s long-time offensive coordinator, was hired as head coach in Las Vegas.
After McDaniels was let go by the Raiders in 2023, he returned to the Patriots as their offensive coordinator in 2025.
Last offseason, under first-year head coach Mike Vrabel, the Patriots showed interest in bringing Stidham back. However, he ultimately opted to sign a two-year extension with the Broncos.
Kennedy has been a supportive presence throughout Stidham’s NFL career. The couple, married since 2019, is also proud parents to three children.
