Kyle Wagner, who identifies as Antifa, demands 'armed' action, claims to be 'on the run'

A self-identified member of “Antifa” in Minneapolis has called for armed individuals to confront immigration authorities, stating he is now “on the run” after significant backlash. Kyle Wagner, who describes himself as a “master hatebaiter,” made these remarks following the death of Alex Preti, an ICU nurse who was killed by Border Patrol agents. In a recent video, he expressed concerns about being silenced and highlighted his need for support as he navigates this situation.

“I’m basically on the run right now,” Wagner said. “I have a safe place and an evacuation plan, but I’ll need to be resourceful and get help.” He indicated he would continue the fight but acknowledged the challenges ahead. Additionally, Wagner has taken down his social media accounts and his donation platform is no longer active.

Wagner had previously called for “armed” men to protect innocent people during protests. In a somewhat controversial statement, he acknowledged the fears some might have about their loved ones not returning home, but insisted that immediate action is necessary to prevent further violence. “This cannot end without good people in the streets armed and ready,” he emphasized.

In a follow-up video, he mentioned he couldn’t legally possess a firearm himself but urged those who could to “show up.” He criticized immigration authorities, saying, “They’re killing people on the streets,” as he urged for boots on the ground to stop the violence.

A former local Republican chair criticized Wagner’s lack of experience with law enforcement and suggested that so-called influencers contribute to the ongoing tensions in Minneapolis. “Eighty percent of the tension would be resolved without them,” he claimed.

As for the circumstances surrounding Preti’s death, reports indicate he was filming federal agents when he was shot. Officials initially claimed he was armed and attempted to resist arrest, but eyewitness accounts have raised questions about this narrative. In light of these events, President Trump stated that his administration is reviewing the situation closely.
