Accuser of Alexander brothers says she encountered the attacker at Zac Efron's apartment

Testimony in High-Profile Rape Case Involving Real Estate Brothers

A woman has testified that she was raped by Aron Alexander, brother of real estate moguls Tal and Oren Alexander, after meeting him at an exclusive NBA Finals viewing party hosted by actor Zac Efron in 2012.

During the trial in Manhattan federal court, she explained that she met Aron and Tal at Efron’s penthouse in the Meatpacking District. The party, which took place on June 21, 2012, reportedly had fewer than a dozen attendees watching the Miami Heat face the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The woman, identified by the pseudonym Katie Moore, shared that her interest in meeting Zac Efron motivated her attendance. Unfortunately, her evening took a dark turn after a small group, including the Alexanders, left the party for a nearby club.

After arriving at Provocateur, Katie indicated that she was given a drink that caused her to lose control. She later regained consciousness in a bed, finding Aron Alexander standing over her, both of them naked.

In her testimony, she recounted her attempts to resist, stating, “I don’t want to have sex with him,” to which he allegedly laughed and responded, “I’ve done it.” She described the experience as feeling increasingly hopeless as she began to cry.

Witnesses have not indicated that Zac Efron was aware of the circumstances surrounding the incident, and a public relations firm representing him did not comment.

Federal prosecutors allege that the Alexanders were involved in a long-running scheme to lure women into sex trafficking from 2008 to 2021, leveraging their wealth and status. Prosecutor Madison Mizer characterized them as “party boys” hiding their predatory behavior.

Disturbing evidence, including footage of Oren Alexander raping a 17-year-old girl while filming it, is expected to be shown in court. Oren allegedly bragged about the assault in a conversation and received an email from Aron mentioning another troubling incident.

The prosecutor revealed that Tal Alexander is also accused of holding down a 16-year-old girl while the others raped her, and that drugs might have been used on some victims during these encounters.

Oren Alexander’s attorney, Tenny Geragos, suggested that some accusers might lie about being drugged to escape their own guilt regarding their intoxication, pointing to potential motivations for financial gain from pending lawsuits.

The Alexander brothers, who were arrested in December 2024 after multiple civil lawsuits surfaced, are facing serious charges, including sex trafficking. If convicted, they could face 15 years to life in prison. As of now, they remain in custody without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
