Trump Endorses Michael Alfonso for Congress

Former President Donald Trump has given his endorsement to Michael Alfonso, who is the son-in-law of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, in Michael’s bid for Congress.

On Tuesday night via Truth Social, Trump noted, “Michael is the son-in-law of our great Secretary of Transportation, Sean Duffy, and the wonderful Rachel Campos-Duffy of Fox News, one of the most popular (and talented!) anchors in all of television.” He expressed strong support, stating, “Michael Alfonso has been a lifelong winner, comes from a really great family, and I fully support him as he becomes the next Congressman for Wisconsin’s 7th District. He will never let you down!”

Alfonso responded on X, saying, “I am honored to accept the endorsement from President Donald J. Trump. He truly is the greatest president of all time, and I pledge to be a steadfast MAGA warrior for the people of Wisconsin’s 7th District.”

Additionally, Trump has also thrown his support behind Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany, who is currently representing Wisconsin’s 7th District and is running for governor. Trump said about Tiffany, “I fully support Tom Tiffany to be the next governor of Wisconsin. He will never let you down!” This statement came shortly after endorsing Alfonso.

Tiffany expressed his gratitude for Trump’s backing, noting a positive trend in the state, such as rising wages and falling gas prices, and emphasized the need for common sense leadership in Madison. It’s clear both candidates are rallying for significant support as they aim to make an impact in Wisconsin.
