Kyle Kindred remains loyal to his wife, McKenna Kindred, despite her conviction as a sex offender. Reports indicate that the couple moved across state lines to start anew, settling in Kuna, Idaho, where they bought a four-bedroom house for just under $500,000 in June 2024.
McKenna, now 27, recently pleaded guilty to having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student while she was a teacher at Central Valley High School. This included a disturbing incident that took place in their home, according to court documents.
Their new home—spacious and modern—has three garages and is located on a 6,839-square-foot lot. It’s a short drive to the local high school, but it’s unclear if McKenna has been able to return to work following an investigation that began in August 2024.
In March 2024, McKenna was found guilty of first-degree sexual misconduct. This misconduct reportedly started in June 2022, after authorities discovered her Instagram interactions with the student, which included inappropriate messages and images.
In messages, McKenna admitted feeling jealousy and expressed affection towards the student, which raised alarms among peers. By December 2022, her conduct was revealed to school authorities by friends of the boy who shared these exchanges.
While she avoided jail time, McKenna was sentenced to two years of probation, a $700 fine, and is required to register as a sex offender for the next ten years.
Kyle, also 27, has pursued a career in law, currently working as an associate attorney at a firm in Boise. Prior to their move to Idaho, the couple lived together in Liberty Lake and temporarily stayed in Kyle’s parents’ home during challenging times surrounding McKenna’s legal issues.
While Kyle was studying law and business at Gonzaga University, he often went on hunting trips, seemingly unaware of the gravity of McKenna’s secret life at that time.
Today, he focuses on providing legal insights on complex real estate transactions, a career that appears to be progressing despite the heavy circumstances surrounding his personal life.
