Recently uncovered emails related to Jeffrey Epstein have brought to light conversations involving Reid Hoffman, one of the co-founders of LinkedIn. These emails detail visits to Epstein’s various properties, including his notorious private island, a ranch in New Mexico, and an apartment in New York.
One email from Hoffman’s team stated, “Mr. Reid will be spending the night at No. 71,” indicating plans at an Upper East Side townhouse. Another memo, dated around 2014, noted social gatherings and mentioned, “Jeffrey has invited Joy Ito and Reid Hoffman will be at the ranch this weekend,” although exact dates weren’t provided. Ito, just for context, is a venture capitalist from Japan.
In a separate communication from Epstein to his assistant, Saida Sapyeva, the topic of a trip was discussed. Epstein wrote, “Reid will be boarding a Virgin America flight from SFO to Fort Lauderdale,” with flight details included.
Hoffman was reported to have visited Epstein’s former private island, known infamously as “Pedophile Island,” in 2023. In another peculiar 2016 email, Hoffman appeared upbeat about retrieving his passport, which Epstein mentioned had been “in the gift bag” he received.
There was also a revealing exchange involving Elon Musk, where Epstein inquired if Hoffman and Musk were planning a Christmas trip to St. Barths. Musk’s response was rather brief, and in a previous email from 2012, he expressed a desire for a more laid-back experience, stating, “I’ve been working to the limit of my sanity this year… exact opposite of what I’m looking for.”
Recently, these discussions have sparked further tension between Hoffman and Musk. Hoffman criticized Musk online over past remarks suggesting that Trump is involved in dubious matters while he continues to financially support him. He also shared an image of a previous interaction regarding Trump that highlighted their disagreements.
As of now, Hoffman, Musk, Summers, and Trump have not faced any charges in connection with Epstein.
