Amber Rose Defends Erika Kirke Following Criticism

Amber Rose has come out in support of Erika Kirke amidst backlash regarding her reaction to the passing of her husband, Charlie Kirk. During a recent livestream with Suneco, Rose, 42, expressed understanding for the different ways people grieve. “Everyone grieves differently. That’s what I tell people,” she noted. “Maybe she feels it’s her duty to do the things he did, to keep his memory alive. But, I can’t tell someone how to grieve,” she added, somewhat hesitantly.

Charlie Kirk, who founded Turning Point USA, was tragically shot during an event at Utah Valley University on September 10th. He and Erika had two children together.

In the wake of his death, Erika assumed leadership of Turning Point USA and has appeared publicly at various events. Some, like liberal podcaster Jennifer Welch, have harshly criticized Erika, calling her a lawbreaker and likening her to Donald Trump. “This woman should be kicked to the curb,” Welch said during her podcast.

In another segment of the livestream, Rose also addressed Ariana Grande’s recent comments encouraging Americans to skip work to protest against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Grande shared her thoughts on Instagram, calling for a nationwide shutdown. Rose responded with frustration, saying, “I don’t know, it’s like, ‘Girl, shut up,’” referring to Grande’s wealth and influence.

“I think Ariana Grande is worth between $250 million and $300 million. I mean, if you’re telling people not to go to work—maybe donate some of that money?” Rose continued, pointing out the irony in urging struggling individuals to stay home.

Amber Rose has notably supported Donald Trump during his 2024 campaign, even speaking at the Republican National Convention. She shared her decision to “put on a red hat” despite fearing backlash from the left.

Reflecting on her experiences, she remarked, “Unfortunately, the ‘woke’ left cancels people with different ideologies. Fortunately, I don’t care.” She believes in standing firm in her beliefs and emphasizes the necessity for open discussions across differing viewpoints.

“There is no objective truth on the left, only feelings,” she concluded, underscoring her perspective. This ongoing discourse illustrates how multifaceted public opinions can be, revealing both support and criticism in equal measure.
