Just a month after the NHL’s inaugural outdoor game in Florida, another one is set to kick off.

This evening, February 1st, the Tampa Bay Lightning will face off against the Boston Bruins at Raymond James Stadium, which is the home field for the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as part of the 2026 Stadium Series.

Initially, it was anticipated that temperatures would remain around 70 degrees until the game started, but it looks like it will be much chillier, possibly dipping into the low 30s. To keep the ice solid in the days prior to the game, the NHL has set up climate-controlled tents.
