Trump Responds to Trevor Noah’s Claims About Epstein
On Monday, President Donald Trump took to social media to announce he would pursue legal action against Trevor Noah, who suggested he had spent time on Jeffrey Epstein’s private island. Noah made these comments during the Grammy Awards, where Trump supposedly expressed a desire for Greenland, tied to his past engagements with former President Bill Clinton on the island.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump vehemently denied ever visiting the island, insisting he would sue Noah unless he corrected his statements soon. “Noah inaccurately said that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein’s Island. Wrong! I can’t speak for Bill, but I’ve never been there, and I’ve never been accused of it,” Trump asserted. He went on to call Noah a “total loser” and threatened to take legal action against him, stating, “Get ready, Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!”
The Department of Justice has recently released over 3 million documents related to Epstein following the Epstein File Transparency Act signed by Trump last November. These documents revealed Epstein’s connections with various high-profile individuals, including Elon Musk and former Trump strategist Steve Bannon.
Additionally, it came to light that Epstein had financially supported Kathryn Ruemmler, a former advisor to President Obama, for several years. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche clarified that they do not intend to shield Trump or anyone else mentioned in the documents. Trump’s name appears numerous times, mostly in context of media references rather than direct accusations.
In a separate matter, Trump filed a lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal over claims he had drawn lewd sketches for Epstein, which he denied with a firm “I’ve never drawn anything like that in my life.” Meanwhile, victims from Epstein’s trafficking ring have stated they were unaware of any wrongdoing by Trump, while Epstein’s former associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, referred to Trump as a “gentleman” during her dealings with him.
Records show that Trump had removed Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago estate back in 2003 after Epstein was accused of misconduct involving a young employee at the spa.
