Anita Vogel is back on air after a challenging year. The seasoned correspondent has returned to the “Big Weekend Show” following both the Palisades wildfire and the loss of her husband, who passed away from pancreatic cancer after 13 years together.

At 56, Vogel shared that 2025 has been “one of the most difficult times” for her family. “It has been the most difficult time for our family,” she remarked. She needed some time off to cope with her profound loss, but she is now moving forward, “one day at a time,” as she described it.

Vogel explained that her return to work is part of her healing process to regain a sense of normalcy. Fans on social media showed tremendous support, sharing their sympathies and praising her strength during this trying time.
