Two Jewish women are removed from a Spanish spa after staff notice a Star of David necklace in an unsettling video: 'Free Palestine'

In Spain, two Jewish women reportedly faced aggressive treatment at a spa after an employee noticed their Star of David necklaces and forcibly removed them from the premises.

Hen Mazzig, an Israeli author who shared a video of the incident online, indicated that the two women are American expats living in Barcelona. As they were about to enter Sauna Termas, a gay spa, tensions escalated.

Upon arrival, staff members denied them entry and repeatedly questioned whether they were Zionists because of their jewelry.

Mazzig chose not to disclose the women’s identities.

In the video, one spa employee, a woman with short hair and glasses, can be heard asking, “Are you a Zionist?”

When one woman brought up the Spanish Inquisition, another employee, displaying a mocking demeanor, retorted, “It’s not the Jews that are the problem, it’s the Zionists.”

One of the women responded, asserting that the two are much alike.

A second employee, wearing a black tank top, attempted to swipe one woman’s phone and insisted that recording wasn’t permitted in the spa.

A crowd of women then surrounded the two patrons, pushing them out against one woman’s pleas, as onlookers observed.

“We will not tolerate genocide,” shouted another short-haired woman from the group.

Outside, the situation intensified, with some women attempting to knock a cellphone from one woman’s hand and even striking her face.

An official clad in a black tank top shouted, “Liberate Palestine.”

The two women approached a bouncer outside, trying to explain their ordeal. “They kicked us out because we were Jewish,” one said.

Another added, “She looked at our Jewish star and said you can’t stay here.”

When they inquired about returning, the bouncer informed them they could not due to his recording of the incident.

“We just want to come in and have a good time,” one of them expressed earnestly.

Though they promised to put away their phones upon re-entry, their hopes were dashed when a staff member returned, decisively stating, “Alberto, that’s no.”

Mazzig noted that the women have since filed a police report regarding the incident.
