Two More Individuals Charged in Connection with Minnesota Church Incident

DOJ Arrests Two More in St. Paul Church Incident

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Monday that two additional individuals have been arrested linked to the disruption of church services at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Attorney General Pam Bondi shared the news via an X post, identifying the suspects as Ian Davis Austin and Jerome D’Angelo Richardson. She emphasized the coordinated nature of the attack, stating, “If you cause a riot in a place of worship, we will find you.”

The Justice Department did not reply immediately to inquiries from the media.

This announcement followed the arrest of former CNN host Don Lemon in Los Angeles on Thursday evening. He faces charges tied to the Jan. 18 incident at the church, which was meant to protest his role with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Federal officials have charged Lemon with civil rights violations for disrupting worship at Cities Church.

Lemon was released without bail and discussed his views in a Substack post, claiming that the government had ruled his journalistic work was not protected speech.

In total, nine people have now been arrested regarding the events at Cities Church, as reported by ABC News.

President Trump commented on the footage of the attack, describing the agitators as professionals skilled in causing chaos.

Additionally, Bondi revealed that 16 other rioters have been arrested in Minnesota on charges of assault.
