Immigration Weaponization Discussed by Peter Schweitzer
Peter Schweitzer, an investigative journalist and author of “The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon,” delves into the complex implications of immigration. According to Schweitzer, there’s a significant narrative that often goes overlooked when we discuss immigration—the idea that it can be used as a tool for subjugation.
In an interview with Liz Wheeler on “The Liz Wheeler Show,” Schweitzer stated, “We’ve had an important discussion in our country regarding immigration—its effects on jobs, violence, and culture. But there’s a wider issue at play: the weaponization of immigration.” He elaborated that foreign entities, like the Chinese government and others, view immigration as a strategic weapon against the U.S.
Schweitzer argues that individuals coming from other nations often bring along their broader political networks, which can influence their perspectives on immigration. “They have a different outlook than we do,” he noted. This leads to a shared sentiment among various groups that immigration can, in fact, be utilized to challenge American authority.
Notably, he pointed out the Chinese government’s strategy, expressing concern about how it affects the U.S. “For over a decade now, it’s believed that around 100,000 Chinese babies are born in the U.S. each year. That’s a substantial number.” He emphasized that this could potentially create a demographic shift, as these citizens can vote and contribute to political campaigns when they reach adulthood.
Furthermore, he highlighted the narrow margin by which the 2016 presidential election was decided, underlining the potential risks involved. “The election was decided by roughly 72,000 votes between Trump and Clinton,” he remarked. It’s this kind of vulnerability, he believes, that should be of concern to all Americans.
