Alternative Halftime Show Lineup Unveiled, Featuring Kid Rock and Country Artists

TPUSA Announces Alternative Halftime Show for Super Bowl LX

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) has revealed its plans for an alternative halftime show during Super Bowl LX. This event will feature four artists, specifically rocker Kid Rock along with country artists Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. The performance will be streamed on TPUSA’s social media platforms, including YouTube, and will also be broadcast on TBN, The National News Desk, and Real America’s Voice.

The show is branded as the “All-American Halftime Show,” aiming to celebrate faith, family, and freedom. It will air simultaneously with the official halftime show of the game, which features a matchup between New England and Seattle, and is set to be shown on NBC.

TPUSA first proposed this alternative in October, reacting to the NFL’s announcement that Bad Bunny, a rapper known for his explicit lyrics, would be part of the performance lineup. Bad Bunny had been the most streamed artist on Spotify in 2025.

Andrew Corbett, a spokesman for TPUSA, stated, “The All-American Halftime Show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy a halftime show for no other purpose than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom.” He expressed excitement about the family-friendly nature of the show, emphasizing that millions will be tuning in.

Kid Rock, known for his edgy reputation, has songs that often have parental advisory warnings due to explicit content. It remains to be seen if his performance this Sunday will reflect a more family-friendly approach.

In a news release, Kid Rock mentioned, “We approach this show like David and Goliath. It’s almost impossible to compete with pro football machines and global pop superstars… or is it? [Bad Bunny] Did I mention we’re going to have a dance party and wear dresses and sing in Spanish? Nice. We’re going to play some great songs for people who love America.”

All four artists have garnered multiple awards in the country music scene. Gilbert is known for hits like Bottoms Up and Kick It in the Sticks, while Brice has enjoyed success with tracks such as One of Them Girls and Rumor. Barrett made her mark with the hit I Hope, followed by popular songs like Good People. Both Brice and Barrett have publicly shared their Christian faith.
